  1. Randi,

How much chalk paint would you need to paint a 2 shelf bookcase? I don’t want a lot of paint left over since I’m not in the States.

    1. I would say a quart would be plenty. Just depends on what color the piece is and how many coats you will need. If you have a black shelf and you want to paint it white, it will take more. If you are sticking with “like” colors you might be able to use 8 oz.

      Randi 🙂

      1. It’s a natural unfinished wood. I’d that will make a difference, you can let me know. Otherwise, I’ll plan on a quart. Thanks for the help, Randi!

        1. If it is a small piece then 8 oz might be enough. I always tend to buy a little more than I need….just in case! 🙂

  2. Flipping furniture has always been a centre of attraction to me. I will soon start my first furniture flip project, and I am sure this post will help me a lot.

  3. Thanks for sharing, Randi! I’ve always been interested in breathing new life to older furniture like this, but never really had the know-how or the patience. I’ll be referring back here when I’m ready to give it another try! Happy to have found your link over at My Girlish Whims!

  4. Flipping furniture is a hobby of mine, too. You always do such a beautiful job! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm:) xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
