FARMHOUSE PILLOW FUN: A TUTORIAL
Hello! I have been engaging in some more Farmhouse Pillow Fun! Yes, I am addicted to making pillow covers these days.
They are simple to make and oh-so cute. You can customize these any way you want to, and place them on your bed or your couch or a chair. Or a gift for a friend would be wonderful!
I made these pillows using my ENVELOPE STYLE PILLOW COVER tutorial. This is an easy sewing project that you can make in an afternoon…even if you are a beginner. Buy some fabric, invite a friend over and get crafty. Personally I find there is no better way to spend an afternoon with a friend than sewing something fun.
If you love the pillows, but don’t want to make them yourself, you can purchase a set here in my Etsy shop.
For these cuties I used some black gingham fabric (gingham is my favorite along with polka dots!) and a medium-weight canvas for the text pillow. I simply cut out a stencil with my Silhouette Cameo and then painted the text onto the fabric using fabric paint. If you don’t have a Cameo cutting machine, you can purchase a pre-cut stencil from the craft store. They are available in all sorts of styles!
I hope you find the time to make an ENVELOPE STYLE PILLOW COVER! Feel free to email me with any questions!
