I am so glad you stopped by my blog!
My name is Randi and I love to make things. If it can be made, you will probably find me trying to see if doing it myself is possible. Of course, some times I am successful and occasionally I am not, which only adds to the adventure. Here on my blog I share my victories as well as my trials in creating.
I live in sunny Colorado with my daughter, and you will often find me taking pictures, sanding and painting furniture, hiking, hanging out with friends and family, piecing quilts, and tackling my latest project: fixing up my very own house.
I have discovered over the last several years that life is what you make it. Often the place we find ourselves in life is not where we expected to be. And that can be either exciting or frightening. Wherever you find yourself, you can take what life is offering and make it over to your liking…whether it means re-doing an old dresser, or navigating a newly single life. It’s yours! Make it into what you want it to be. In other words, fresh-squeeze it until you love what you see.
Scrape off the old, add the new.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43:18-19
It’s possible. I know this because I did it. I am doing it. I hope you stick around so we can encourage each other to do it together.
Have a lovely day!
