I wanted to share a tip I learned from a diy show: after you’ve sanded a wood project, take the sawdust and mix it with wood glue; use this for filling gaps and imperfections. Let it dry, sand, and then stain. Because it is sawdust from your project, the filled areas will be a perfect match. I hope that tip comes in handy next time you build.
