AUTUMN LIST OF THINGS TO DO
It’s September 1st, and I can not even believe that I am writing those words! But it’s time for an Autumn List of Things To Do
I have discovered that if you move from house to house over the summer, your summer goes by very quickly. And that’s OK, but I had no idea it would go as quickly as it did!
Now it’s time to start planning for autumn and making sure we make the most of our time.
I absolutely love summertime, but whenever the weather starts cooling off and the days get a little bit shorter, it makes me happy. The bright, hot heat of summer gets old after a while, doesn’t it? And to be honest, I dislike sweating a great deal, so I am glad it’s coming to a close.
Being purposeful and having a plan is the only way that my little family gets things done. If I just allow the weekends to pass us by, we will end up doing not much of anything. And after our summer of packing, having yard sales, cleaning and moving, that will not be OK at all!
Here is a sample of our list so far:
***Climb Manitou Incline
***Drive to Aspen for the day
***Independence Pass to see fall leaves
***Tour de Fat in Fort Collins
***Def Leppard (tickets are bought!!!)
***Harvest Festival at The Abbey
***Dinosaur Museum
***Corn Maze
***Football game in Grand Junction with Micah
It’s so crazy to be planning for corn mazes and fall leaves! But those days will come quickly and I want to make sure to grab onto them make them worthwhile. I am one of those people who irritatingly gets too focused on “getting work done” when I should be relaxing with my family.
If you would like to plan ahead for your autumn days, I have made up an Autumn List of Things To Do for you to use. Make copies and hang it where you can see it every weekend. And be sure to make this autumn your family’s best one yet!

Have a great day, friends!
