LOTS OF GOODNESS IN THE WORKS
Oh my! There is lots of goodness in the works at my house!
In other words, I have started a ton of projects, but not one thing is finished!
This is always a fun time simply because I know lots of goods will be finished soon.
Is it me? Or am I the only one that gets inspired by making and working on things? That is another way to say that while I am in the middle of all of this goodness, I have about 50 ideas for new projects.
Right now Daniel and I are working towards a Craft Show in March and I will be keeping you posted on progress, of course. I have a feeling I will be showing you some successes as well as some duds.
That’s the way life works, at least in my world!
First up are the wonderful frames that I found at a yard sale for $4.00 for the set. These are going to become a little piece of decorating goodness. The tutorial for these will make it’s way into my Handmade Holidays Challenge. You can sign up here to receive those newsletters over the month of October!:
One of my favorites pieces in this bunch are these chairs that I bought for $8.00 for the set. A little removing of fabric, spraying of paint, and new fabric added will make these little cuties shine! Daniel and I are also thinking of making a matching table. This, of course, depends on our time schedule….!:
Now you may remember this one from a while ago! I absolutely love the lines of this desk and I am crazy about the color, but I detest the top we added. It has been ripped off and will be replaced with a distressed-looking wood top. Also, I am very sad to say that this piece does not fit in my house, so it will be sold in March. Personally I don’t think we will have any problem finding a home for her!:
And last but not least is this dresser that is about to become a TV stand. I am going to try taking out the top two drawers and converting that space to a shelf. We will see how this goes. I am super excited to see how this one pans out!:
So, there you have it…lots of goodness in the works!
I hope to show you some finished pieces soon!
Have a lovely day!
