CREATIVE WAYS TO ADD NAVY BLUE TO YOUR HOME DECOR
Navy Blue is a great color, but it is also a very striking color.
Bold and out front.
When you are new to decorating or if you have a small space, this color can seem quite overwhelming.
I find that when I am unsure about doing something decoratively in my house, it is best to start out small and work up from there. That way I can get the feel of a look and decide whether or not it is “ME”.
Next week I will post my bedroom makeover and it includes Navy Blue. So far I love how the room looks and I am excited to show you!
NAVY BLUE HOME DECOR:
A perfect place to start with Navy Blue is to add a bit of color to your front door:

Adding a blue piece of furniture to your space is a great way to introduce Navy to your home decorating scheme:
My Scandinavian Home {Lovingly Renovated Norwegian Home}
Blue Cabinets are all the rage right now and I absolutely love them!
Domino {Navy Blue Kitchen}
One blue wall in a small room helps to bring the color in, but it does not make your space look smaller (which dark wall colors can do):
Inside Out {The Block’s Dee and Darren’s Home}
A Navy Blue vanity creates a classic and inviting look in a bathroom:
The Home Bunch {Hale Navy}
Splashes of Navy Blue sprinkled throughout a room with pillows, rugs, and throws create a big visual impact:
It All Started With Paint {Spring Decor}
And last but not least, I have to show you this amazing house exterior. This is the color scheme I would love on the outside of my house. A girl can dream, right?:
Apartment Therapy {Paint Color Trends}
All of this Navy Blue loveliness is quite inspiring, don’t you think?
When you want to add a bold color to your home, just add it in small increments to gauge its impact.
You can always go back and change things if you need to!
