A FREE PRINTABLE: FLOWERS IN YOUR HAIR
I came across these song lyrics several months ago and they completely defined my season in life. I was feeling a bit bruised, but also hopeful at what might be coming my way. It is a truth that when a loss occurs, it opens up a space for something new. But transitioning to that more hopeful mindset can be a challenge, to say the least!
…but there will come a time, you’ll see, with no more tears. And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
Mumford And Sons
Isn’t that lovely? And so applicable to so many situations.

The first thing I did was to make myself a wood sign. Isn’t that where we all turn when we find words that we love? A wood sign?
Oh, I guess that is just me!
When I posted the sign on my Instagram page and blog, the feedback was pretty surprising. People wanted a wood sign for themselves! But, as luck would have it, the sign with all of it’s cute and delicate lettering was a huge pain to make. So, it was an unfortunate “no” for the gals who wanted the quote sign.
Until now!
It dawned on me to add a free printable to my Resource Library and to include a tutorial in this post on how to make the cute clipboard hanger. The clipboard is seriously a 10-minute project (not including time for the paint to dry).
Here is the video…and it is a quick one!
I think all of us are in that boat where life can be a bit of a disappointment. Loss and struggle and hardship are something that we all face. Personally, I believe that it is also a truth that God has good and lovely things for us. He desires to bless us and lead us to wonderful places. Those places of loss and loneliness can be the best places for God to show off and let us know how much He loves us.
This quote is a daily reminder of better things to come. We can rise up and live our days with grace and trust, and allow things to fall where they belong. We can embrace all of the goodness!
