AWESOME DRAWER ORGANIZATION IDEAS
DRAWER ORGANIZATION IDEAS
Let’s talk about a whole bunch of drawer organization ideas!
My kitchen and bathroom drawers NEED SOME WORK! I a tired of trying to find things among a giant pile of junk.
Aren’t you?
The utensil drawer in my kitchen is my first stop. I would love to be able to open the drawer and see what I need right away. And that involves getting rid of the junk I don’t use.
I mean, how many spatulas does a girl really need?
Not as many as I have, that is for sure!

One of the ideas that I just love is the pantry drawer. I have one deep drawer in my kitchen that could be easily converted to house the pantry basics that I use all the time. The drawer would keep them closer to where I am working. And efficiency is the whole point, right?
Now the bathroom gets tricky because I share mine with my daughter. She tends to leave stuff all over the counter and our drawers are out of control. I am thinking that making some simple organizers will help quite a bit.
If you make organizing easy and obvious, your family will take part and that keeps all the goods in order and simple to locate.
Some of the ideas I found involve making DIY drawers organizers, some are products to buy and some require built-ins. I like this since it reaches every budget.
Let’s check out all of the organized drawer goodness!

KITCHEN DRAWER ORGANIZATION IDEAS
The kitchen tends to house a lot of unnecessary stuff. Utensils that never get used and appliances that just sit on the counter.
When you are organizing your drawers, take the time to examine whether or not an item needs to be kept. If you multiple pieces, getting rid of one will be no big deal AND it will create space which will allow you to find things quickly.
You may also find that you can throw away old utensils and replace them with new ones. It took me a while to throw away a broken whisk but I love my new replacement. I don’t have to “put it together” anymore before I use it. I wish I would do stuff like this sooner, but I tend to drag buying new things out for a while.
It is good for the budget, but not for the kitchen!
Give yourself some room to make your home work for you. Spending a little bit of money can save a lot of time. And your newly organized spaces will look great!

The bathroom is another room where I keep a lot of unused junk. I recently went through all of our medications and I had multiples of things. It is good to know what you actually have so you don’t repeatedly buy it.
Also, it was good to throw out the 3-year old cold medicine!
I recently organized our bathroom cabinet and found so many half-used shampoo bottles. So ridiculous! None of it was going to be used, but I had a feeling like I couldn’t throw away a bottle with product in it.
If you aren’t going to use it, get rid of it with confidence.
Think of it as paring down to what you need and creating space to easily find the goods you do use.

DIY DRAWER ORGANIZATION
Making your own drawer organization system is easier than you think! Some of these tutorials involve using items you already have in your house—so the budget will thank you!
Others are inexpensive to make you can use your DIY skills to get organized!
One thing that I will be doing is to take some time to figure out what spaces actually need to be created. In one of the tutorials, Jenga blocks are used to section off space. I think this is a great way to decide what you really need before you get to work.
Don’t make the mistake of creating DIY drawer organization without knowing what you really need.
A bit of time spent planning will save a headache in the end. Simply put, make sure the work you are doing will work your kitchen or bathroom!
