GET ORGANIZED WITH A HOME MANAGEMENT BINDER
HOW I ORGANIZE MY LIFE WITH MY HOME MANAGEMENT BINDER
Have you ever wished you had a coach that could help you get your life and home organized? Someone who could show you the ropes and tell you exactly what to do?
Well, I am here to show you how to get organized with home organization printables!
Getting organized is a huge job, but it can be done. To be honest, the biggest thing you need to do is to start.
The first thing you need to do is to figure out what needs to be organized. Is it everything? Is your menu planning, your budget, and your daily time schedule out of whack?
Sit down and write it all down. All of those areas that need attention.
Once you have it all down, it might seem like a huge, undoable job. But it is not.
Here is how I do it:
I like to divide my organization projects up into smaller, bite-sized pieces because they feel manageable. Looking at the project as a whole—getting your life and home organized—feels overwhelming, and for someone like me, keeps me stuck in never starting.
So, I am going to suggest that you divide things up into three main categories: Household Goals, Cleaning, and Food + Grocery. For me, the big three are where most of my life exists, and keeping these three in check makes life quite simple and manageable.
And manageable is what we are shooting for, right?
While Cleaning and Food + Grocery are pretty obvious, Household Goals can be anything you want them to be!
A remodeling or decorating project, organizing a space, or getting your kids started on helping with chores! The sky is seriously the limit with this one so get creative and dream big!

PRINTABLES FOR ORGANIZATION
Anytime I start something new I either get a new notebook or I download new printables. Either way works!
Getting goals and plans down on paper is the beginning of getting where you want to be.
Write it down, break it down into doable pieces and you are on your way!
Starting with cute home organization printables motivates me simply because they are visually appealing. Yes, I am silly like that! I will always get farther with something cute than I will with something plain.
If you want to get some cute printables to get you started, I made up these cuties for my new year and I am offering them to you!
This cute set has over 35 pages of organizing goodness! And the price is amazing!
I want to get started on your own organizing journey so that life can feel more manageable. Once your life is under control, you have more time for play and family and friends and all-around goodness! You will be surprised at how your life changes when you are not so busy keeping things from flying off the rails. And this is what happens when there is no plan in place.
So, let’s get the plan in place!
ORGANIZATION PRINTABLES
My home management binder is my first stop every morning and my last stop every night. It guides my time during the day and I am pretty good at letting it tell me what to do. If you find yourself writing things down and never doing them, you will have to stop and ask yourself “why”! Are you trying to do too many things? Or are you trying to do things that don’t get you to your goals?
Either one of those tends to lead us to inaction.
Think of the things that you NEED to do. Things that, if not done, will be a detriment. That is your starting point.
If you find yourself repeatedly writing down “clean the hall closet”, ask yourself if it really needs to be done right now. Maybe you need to start with something else and save that for later. A messy closet is an eyesore but it really doesn’t cause anything bad to happen if it not organized.

Here is what you will find in my Home Management Printables Set:
Calendars, Planner Pages, and Goal Sheets
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Time Blocking Sheet
- 15 Minutes a Day Tracker
Let’s talk about two of these sheets: The Time Blocking Sheet and The 15 Minutes a Day Tracker.
Time Blocking is a great way to get your day in order. For example, you can block off 1 hour in the morning for cleaning and laundry. Then after that, you block off time for home schooling. In the afternoon you can block time for errands and then meal preparation. Looking at the day in blocks of time helps you to know how much time you really have. And it helps you to see how much time is left over for time with family and friends or other projects you might want to get done.
The 15 Minutes a Day Tracker is a perfect way to get things done also. You will be surprised how much you get done in one week when you invest 15 minutes each day. Whether it is an organizing project or starting a new business, a little bit at a time really adds up!
Cleaning and Organization
- Cleaning Schedule
- Single Room Worksheets to prep for cleaning and organizing
- Chore Charts
If you are used to cleaning on the fly and not knowing what needs to be done, these sheets will get you on track!
Break it all down and get it done. Give the kids a chore chart as well. You would be surprised what kids can do if you let them try.
Menu Planning and Grocery
- Grocery List
- Price Tracker (this is how you save $$$!)
- Meal Ideas Sheet
- Weekly Menu
Planning weekly meals and shopping trips saves time and money! And if you track the prices of the items you buy often, you know when to go all in and buy extra when they are on sale. You might be surprised to know that stores like Costco and Sam’s Club are often more expensive than your local grocery store. They are designed to make you feel like you are saving money since you are buying in bulk, but that is often not the case!
How to Start Meal Planning and Saving Money at the Grocery Store
All of those printables combined create your Home Management Binder!
You can break down every project you want to get done with the sheets. This includes your home remodeling projects or home business projects.
Break them down and put them on your schedule. You can figure out what needs to be done when (daily weekly or monthly) and write it down on your planner pages.
This is the start of something big!
Happy organizing!
