FARMHOUSE STYLE WOOD SIGNS

It sure has taken me a while to nail these, but I think I have finally succeeded with these farmhouse style wood signs.
Sometimes when it comes to crafting and creating, the image you have in your mind, does not quite come out in your finished product. That sure was the case here. I tried all kinds of paint, all kinds of transfer techniques, and all kinds of mediums. None worked in the way I wanted them to.
Until I broke down and bought a Silhouette CAMEO 3 Starter Bundle.
And, oh my goodness, I love this machine.
There are so many things I can do with it, and so far I have only tried vinyl transfers.
Farmhouse Style signs are so fun to make and I get to add my own personal touch : a bit of color.
What can I say? Color is my thing. While I do love all of the neutral farmhouse goodness, a pop of color really does it for me. Color always seems to bring a bit of happiness to a space.
What I am loving most is coming up with new quotes for these farmhouse wood signs. New ideas just keep a comin’ and honestly I have to curb them. I can only make so many signs, you know?
The most challenging part of making these is cutting the frames down. The table saw is the tool to use, and I have to say that is the tool I fear the most. The cuts are so small and my fingers have to be uncomfortably close to the blade, so safety is Number One in my mind! I am not going to lose any fingers to make signs!
I am bit late for the Christmas shopping rush, but these lovelies are for sale in my Etsy shop. They are made to order, so I do ask that you give me one week for shipping. Custom orders are welcome!
Thank you for stopping by today to look at my Farmhouse Style Wood Signs!
Have a lovely day!
