EASY WOOD HOME DECOR DIYS
DIY Home Craft Projects For Beginners
Decorating your home on a budget might seem like a tough challenge, but I have an answer for you: Easy Wood Home Decor DIYs! And YES you can do this!
The biggest success secret when it comes to DIY is simply “Just Do It”! Pick a tutorial, buy your supplies and do it!
Yes, you will come up with great projects to display in your home, but you will also have some duds. I know this from experience. I no longer consider a botched project to be a failure…it is an opportunity to learn!
The more you work to develop your skills, the better you are going to get at DIYing! After time, you will find yourself to be quite skilled and you can attempt more difficult projects.
This is when you know you are getting somewhere!
One thing that really helps is to ask questions. Home Depot is a perfect spot to get more information. You can get lots of information and guidance from the people who work there. It is truly the DIYers store!
YouTube is another great resource to learn more about projects and tools, especially if you are a visual learner like me. I learn best when someone shows me “how” and then moves out of the way to let me do it. I have a YouTube channel of my own and I add new projects and tutorials as often as I can:

Cheap DIY Projects For Your Bedroom
One of the easiest rooms to start adding your easy wood DIY home decor items to is your bedroom. Why? Because it is small. A living room can be a bit overwhelming to decorate when you are just starting out.
You need to start with a plan. And Pinterest is a perfect spot to start forming your plan.
Start a board and label it something like “home decor ideas” or “bedroom vision board. You are going to find after time that there is a theme emerging. Color, style, and texture will all start showing itself. Whittle it down to your favorites and you are ready to go!
It is a good idea to carry paint samples, wood pieces, and Pinterest pictures when you are shopping. That way you make sure you are heading in the direction you want to go. I find it too easy to get caught up in something new at the store. I am pretty sure that I have DIYing ADHD! Too many choices cause me confusion.
Stay focused!

DIY Home Decor Projects For Beginners
As a beginner, you might find yourself without the tools needed to make some of these projects, but I have a solution for you: borrow or rent tools! Some Home Depot stores have a large rental section. The store in my town does not, but that is because it is a smaller store for a small town. The stores in bigger towns close to me all have tools for rent. You also have the advantage of asking questions on how to use a particular tool when you rent.
Borrowing tools works well if you have friends that are willing. I have one particular girlfriend that I go back and forth on borrowing with and it works great. She happens to have a whole workshop of tools that I can use.
Keep in mind that you always want to pay attention to safety suggestions when using power tools. They are suggested for a reason!
As long as you understand that a tool can cause harm if used incorrectly, you will be just fine.

DIY Home Projects On A Budget
We all have a budget and sometimes that budget is tiny, just like mine! I do not let that stop me from trying new things and making items though. I simply pick projects that fit nicely with the size of my bank account!
Since I have done this for quite a while I have an idea of how much wood pieces cost and how much paint is needed. After time, this will become natural for you as well.
Whenever I start working on a room (I tend to decorate one room at a time) I set a strict budget for myself. I have to admit that I am pretty good at not doing over that amount and, in fact, I tend to come out under budget. Any money I have left over either goes towards another project or two or towards buying something pre-made. You do not have to make everything!
Items such as pillows, curtains, and knick-knacks can be inexpensively purchased to finish off the look of your space. Keep in mind also that painting a room can give you an entirely new look to work within!
