Making your own wreath is a fun and easy way to add some extra color to your home decor! These DIY wreath ideas are sure to inspire you!
One of the best things about making a wreath of your own is customizing it with your own colors. You can add colors for any season (fall and spring seem to be the big seasons for wreath making!) and you can add textures that go with your decorating style.
Keep in mind that DIY wreath tutorials are simply a starting point for your own ideas. Do not be afraid of playing around with your own designs when making one. Find a tutorial that you love and cater is to your personal style.
One thing to keep in mind when making a wreath is the size. A front door wreath can by much larger than one you plan on hanging on a doorknob or indoor tree. Lucky for us, grapevine wreaths, embroidery hoops, and styrofoam wreath bases all come in a variety of sizes. Feel free to change things up to fit the space you are trying to fill.
One of my favorite spots to hang a DIY wreath is on the front porch. It pretty much screams “welcome” to your guests before they even come in the front door. Look for over the door wreath hangers to keep them in place.
I am gonna suggest that wreaths are a perfect craft for “girl’s craft night”! All you need is enough supplies for everyone and you have a party. Add some wine and it is gonna be fun!

Did you find something that inspires you to create?
It is time to gather your wreath making supplies and get started.
I want to encourage you to go for it! Do not get caught up in feeling like you have to complete a perfect project. This is a great way to get nothing done!
DIYing is all about learning new skills. When you make a project that is imperfect, it teaches you what you might need to do differently next time.
This is a win in my eyes. Once you know what you need to do, you can apply that new knowledge to other DIY projects.
Be sure to tailor each DIY wreath tutorial to your own home decor style. Each one is a jumping-off point for your own personal project.
If you try one of these projects I would love to know. Please leave me a comment if you do!
Happy Crafting!
